The Royal Oak, Mich., native was a retired housekeeper at Western Kentucky University for 11 years, a member of Providence Knob Baptist Church and a graduate of Warren County High School.
She was a daughter of the late Virgil Guy Eadens and Anna Grady Morgan Eadens.
She was preceded in death by four brothers, Denver, Ray, Mack and Guy Eadens; two sisters, Frieda Eadens and Annette Duffer; a brother-in-law, Edgar Spikberg; and a sister-in-law, Roberta Eadens.
Funeral is at 2 p.m. Sunday at J.C. Kirby & Son Funeral Home, Lovers Lane Chapel, with burial in Bowling Green Gardens. Visitation is from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Survivors include her husband, Howard Glenn Pears; two sons, Martin Glenn Pears and his wife, Pamela J., of Mount Hermon and Kevin Allen Pears and his wife, Donna K., of Owensboro; a daughter, Frieda Kathleen Turner and her husband, David A., of Bowling Green; a brother, Doil O. Eadens and his wife, LaVerne, of Rockfield; three sisters, G. May Spikberg and A. Remona Eadens, both of Rockfield, and T. Nell Keith and her husband, Richard, of Bowling Green; a sister-in-law, Barbara Eadens of Bowling Green; six grandchildren, Brian C. Pears, Bradley A. Turner, Audrey A. Turner, Alissa B.
