Edwin Michael Carter, 40, of 710 Circle Village, Newark, died Wednesday at home. The cause of his death will be deteremined by the state medical examiner's office. Mr. Carter worked at County Insulation Co. in New Castle for 13 years, leaving in March to work for All-Temp Insulation Co., in Townsend. Surviviors: Son Edwin Jr. of Newark; daughter, Jennifer Carter of Newark of Newark; mother, Laura Devita of Isle of Palms, SC.; sisters, Karen Schnee of Malvern, PA., Kathleen Crossan of Dayton, Ohio, and Lori McAvaney of Wilmington; Paternal Grandparents, Edwin W. and Hattie Carter of Hockessin. Mass: 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, St. Matthew's Catholic Church, 901 E. Newport Pike, Woodcrest. Visitation: 9 to 10 a.m. Tuesday, Mealey Funeral Home, Limestone and Milltown.
