Mrs. Agnes Elizabeth Cruthirds, wife of Charles Edward Cruthirds, died at her home at Nugent Wednesday morning at 5:50 o'clock.
She was born at Handsboro, October 13, 1851.
She was the mother of 13 children, 4 boys and 9 girls, all of whom reside in the immediate vicinity except a daughter, Mrs. D.M. Miles who lives at Wiggins. The sons are Rev. J.R., C.B., N.E. and G.D. Cruthirds and the daughters are, Mrs. D.M. Miles, Mrs. W.C. King, Mrs. B.E. Davis, Mrs. H. Ferlow, Mrs. George S. Stewart, Mrs. J.E. Reeves, Mrs. W.J. Reeves, Mrs. L.R. Pearce and Mrs. W.H. West.
Mrs. Cruthirds was also a sister to J.B. Clark and W.W. Clark, well known citizens of Harrison county.
The family is one the the oldest and most substantial in the community.
Funeral services will be held at the home in Nugent Thursday morning at 10 o'clock, Rev. P.S. Dodge, pastor of Grace Memorial church and Rev. T.R. Holt, pastor of the Second Methodist church, officiating. Burial will follow in the Coalville cemetery.
