Harold was the son of Charles Ira and Augusta Tauscher Burchfield.

Harold Burchfield

Harold M. Burchfield, 73 West Gypsy Lane Road, died Wednesday (Nov. 11, 1998) at Wood County Hospital.
He was a retired telephone installer for the Western Electric Co.
Mr. Burchfield was a Marine veteran of World War II, a Navy veteran of the Korean War and a member of AMVETS Post No. 711, Bowling Green.
Born June 28, 1925, in Rockwood, Tenn., to Charles I. and Augusta (Taucher*) Burchfield, he married Margery Goodman on Dec. 31, 1953, in Toledo. She survives.
Several nieces and nephews also survive.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Iva Lee Burchfield and Lotta Belle Sowell.
The funeral will be Saturday at 10 a.m. at Deck-Hanneman Funeral Home. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park, Perrysburg. Rev Vernon Goodman will officiate.
Visitation will be Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m.
Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
