Roland Blaine was killed in a school bus/train accident.

Roland Blaine Page, 17, son of Roland and Cleo Bateman Page of Riverton, was born March 27, 1921, at Riverton.

He attended the Riverton elementary and junior high schools and was a junior at Jordan High School.

An active member of the Church, he had been ordained a Teacher in the Priesthood. He was a member of the M. Men basketball team of Riverton First Ward.

Blaine died at the fatal bus crossing and his childhood sweetheart also was killed in the same accident.

Besides his parents, he is survived by on sister, Mavis; three brothers, Noel J., Glen, and Lynn Page, all of Riverton; his grandparents, Mrs. Harriet E. Page and Patriach and Mrs. James A Bateman.
