RONALD R. "STREAK" PULLEN, 68, of West Hamlin, W.Va., passed away Friday, June 9, 2006, at St. Mary's Medical Center. He was born September 14, 1937, at Gilbert, W.Va., a son of the late William Joseph and Thelma Z. Haney Pullen. He was an auto worker for General Motors and a U.S. Marine veteran. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Nathan and Herbert, and three sisters, Mary, Nellie and Roxie. He is survived by his wife, Donna Baker Pullen; one son and his wife, Ronald G. and Donna Pullen of West Hamlin; one brother, Leslie Pullen of West Hamlin; one sister, Audrey Bias of West Hamlin; two grandchildren, Ronald G. Pullen Jr. and Tasha Dawn Pullen; one special niece, Libby Nester Smith; and several nieces and nephews. He will be sadly missed by his CB buddies. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday, June 12, 2006, at McGhee-Handley Funeral Home, West Hamlin, with Eugene Byrd officiating. Burial will follow at Pullen Cemetery, West Hamlin, with military graveside rites by American Legion Post 111 of Hamlin. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
