Funeral services for James Walter Rowe, 48, of Hornbeck, were held on Wednesday, March 30, 2005 at 2 p.m. at Hornbeck First Baptist Church the Revs. Ted Cabra, James Langston, Jerry Key and David Oliver officiated. Burial followed at Prewitt's Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery in Hornbeck, under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home in Leesville.
Mr. Rowe passed away on Thursday, March 24, 2005 at BP Petrochemical Plant in Texas City, Texas.
He is survived by one son, Jeremy Walter Rowe and wife Shannon, of Moose Lake, Minn.; one daughter, Eva Marie Rowe and fiance Robert Lee, of Hornbeck; one brother, Robert Rogers, of Leesville; two sisters, Doris Lynn Grimes and husband Doss, of Florien, and Johnni Young, of Hornbeck; parents, Walter Rowe, Jr. and Doris Rowe, of Hornbeck and two grandchildren, Brandon Lee Tyson Rowe and Ian Vincent Rowe, both of Moose Lake, Minn.
