Mose was born in Peel, Arkansas to L.T. and Mary Jane Livesay McPherson. Brothers and sisters were: Johnny James(died as an infant),Augustus(Gus),Edwin(Ed),Mary Leola(Oley)McGowne,Margaret(Maggie)Martin Gammon,Clara Belle(Bell)Hodge,Sarah Anna(Ann)Lawhon,Nellie Ben Campbell,Gertrude(Gertie)Hudson, and Lee Terry

Mose never married.

I remember him as a quite well mannered man when he lived and worked at Benicia Arsenal Army Depot, Benicia, California. He would often visit with my Grandparents (Hudson's)in Fairfield, California where I would have the pleasure of his company and conversation. After his retirement he moved back to Missouri were he was born and had a house built. There he enjoyed living with his many cats until his death.
