Aunt Bell was born in Peel, Arkansas to L.T. and Mary Jane Livesay McPherson. She was sister to my Grandmother Gertrude McPherson Hudson. Her brothers and sisters were: Johnny James(died as an infant),Augustus(Gus),Edwin(Ed),Maggie Fish Martin Gammon,Sarah Anne(Ann)Lawhon,Nellie Ben Campbell,William Paul(Willie), Mose,Gertrude Hudson, and Lee Terry.

On Dec.20,1903 she married Charlie "Buck" Hodge in Mobley, Arkansas and together they had 10 children. The children were: Earsie Riddle, Hershel(Lee),Lemuel Voyd(L.V.),Oklar,Ray,Fay,Guy,Roy,Troy, and Marie Phillips.
