Esther Margaret Olthof, 82, of Arizona City, died Jan. 27, 2006 at Harmony House adult care home.

Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Thursday at Sonland Lutheran Church, 432 W. Ocotilla St. in Casa Grande. The funeral there will follow at 10 a.m., with the Rev. Duane Bottjen officiating. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery.

Mrs. Olthof was born Aug. 10, 1923 in Chicago and was a daughter of Edward and Eleanor Ivarson. She moved to Arizona about 20 years ago from Liberty, New York. She was a winter visitor for several years before moving to Casa Grande.

She was a homemaker and a minister's wife and traveled throughout the country serving the Reformed Church in America. She enjoyed quilting and a variety of other crafts.

Survivors include her husband, Raymond; two daughters: Dolly McIlroy, of Syracuse, NY, and Judy Clover, of Boiling Springs, NC; son, John Olthof, of Sierra Vista; sister, Edith Vankley, of Crown Point, IN; 13 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers: John and Edward Ivarson.
