Anthony J. Girolamo, 84, of East Syracuse, died at his home Wednesday, October 8, 2008. He was predeceased by his parents and his sister. He was a graduate of Oneida High School, then served his country in WWII in the Navy. He was a Pharmacist's Mate, mostly in the Asiatic-Pacific region. He retired from Bristol Laboratories after 35 years. He was a communicant of St. Matthew's Church in East Syracuse. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Maggie Buda Girolamo; two daughters, Marcia Girolamo of Dallas, TX, and Janet (Richard) Ferguson of Syracuse, NY; three grandchildren, Katherine Anne Ferguson (William Corey), Mary Ellen Ferguson, Suzanna Rose Ferguson; and one great-grandchild, Ceili Corey; several nieces and nephews. Calling hours 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, October 10, 2008, at Forani & Cline Funeral Home, 206 Kinne St., East Syracuse. Funeral service 9 a.m. Saturday, October 11, 2008, at St. Matthew's Church. Burial: St. Mary's Cemetery, DeWitt.
