CHAPMAN, Arthur A. 98, of Palm Harbor, died Tuesday, Sept. 16, 2008, at Stratford Court in Palm Harbor. He was born in Swansea, Wales and came to Florida in the early 1960s, from New York and various military postings. He was a highly decorated and respected veteran of 3 wars, WWII, Korean and Vietnam and retired from the U.S. Air Force. Mr. Chapman was president of the St. Vincent DePaul Society, Grand Knight of the John F. Kennedy Knights of Columbus Council, Faithful Navigator, Our Lady of Lourdes Fourth Degree General Assembly and special minister for communion commander, Dunedin Chapter of Disabled American Veterans. Mr. Chapman was predeceased by his wife of 58 years, Elizabeth Chapman and is survived by sons, Donald E. Chapman of Alexandria, VA, Harold F. Chapman of Swansea, IL; 4 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren and many loving friends. Visitation will be Thursday, Sept. 18, from 5-7 pm at Moss Feaster Funeral Home, 1320 Main Street, Dunedin. Funeral will be Friday Sept. 19, 2008, at 11 am, at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 750 San Salvador St., Dunedin. Burial will be in Arlington National Cemetery, Alexandria, VA.
