Carson A. Flewellen, 83, of Plainview died Sunday, Feb. 11.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Elsie McComb Flewellen; two sons, Ernest Flewellen of Perryville and Eldrid Flewellen of Oklahoma; five daughters, Mrs. Corinne Potts of Nimrod, Mrs. Bertha Wells of Plainview, Mrs. Gertrude Shinn of Tennessee; four half-brothers, Harold and Homer Flewellen of California, Melvin Flewellen of Plainview and Bryant Flewellen of Jacksonville; a half-sister, Mrs. Mildred Davis of Jessieville; 17 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were at 2 p.m. tuesday at the Nimrod Baptist Church. Burial was in Carter Cemetery by Cornwell Funeral Service.
