Harrison Breeden, Jr., of Knoxville, who celebrated his 85th birthday on June 16, passed away on Wednesday, June 24, 2015, at Beverly Park Rehabilitation Center.

Harrison was a proud veteran of the Korean War, where he was a Corporal and a sharpshooter. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Strawberry Plains, and retired from Ideal Cement Company after thirty-five years of service. He was born in Jefferson City, TN, the son of Harrison (Sr.) and Estella Loveday Breeden.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Milburn, Coy, Ervan, and George Breeden; and sisters, Geneva Collins, Eula Wilhite, and Bessie Lyle. He is survived by sister, Edith Breeden Poore; wife, Margaret Louise Sams Breeden; former wife, Fairy Sallie Mae Breeden; children, Michael, Larry (Dorothy), Stanley (Donna), and Shirley Payne; stepchildren, Joyce Leach, Larry (Patricia) Sams, Jim (Ginger) Sams, and Laura Jane (Steve) Cheatham; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Friday, June 26, 2015, at Rose Mortuary Broadway Chapel. The family and friends will gather at 1:45 p.m., Saturday, June 27, 2015, at Woodlawn Cemetery for an 2:00 p.m. graveside service, with Rev. Thomas Huskey and Rev. Jeff Lane officiating and full military honors presented by East Tennessee Veterans Honor Guard.
