Mrs. Emma L Downs, 82, widow of John B Downs, died at her home, 103 South Adams St. following several weeks illness.
Born May 5, 1863 near Mansfield, she spent her entire life here. She was a lifelong member of the First Lutheran Church.Surviving are three sons, Ray F., Lester E., and Russell L. Downs; three daughters, Mrs. Alva Stafford, Mrs. Mabel Siegfried, and Mrs. Frank Rosen, all of Mansfield and vicinity, 18 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
