Nancy Jane Hatch was born 18 June 1893 to William Henry Hatch and Cathrine Ludwick in Koosharem, Sevier county, Utah. She met and Married Christian M. Sorensen 12 July 1911 in the Manti Temple. They gave birth to a son, Ladean West, 17 Oct 1913, who pasted away on the 18 Oct 1913. Christian was called in the Army and served in France during World War 1. After returning from the war he was called to serve a mission in Denmark, several months later war broke out and he was called back to the states and finished his mission in the Northern States.
On March 15, 1917, she gave birth to another son named Orril Ellsworth Sorensen. At which time Nancy passed away leaving a small son for Chris to raise. She is buried in the Koosharem Cemetery by her first son Ladeen West Sorensen.
