OBITUARY :
D. STONER BYER, aged 69 years, of Roadside, died suddenly Saturday noon in the Waynesboro Hospital.

Mr. Byer had been brought here to a doctor's office, but before he could be taken inside, he was stricken. The doctor advised his immediate removal to the hospital where he died shortly afterwards.

He had been in ill health for sometime.

He was born in Waynesboro, the son of John and Susan (Stoner) Byer.

For many years he was a machinest in the Waynesboro shops.

He was a member of the Methodist Episcopal Church and the Biederwolf Bible Class.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Nannie (Foutz) Byer; one son, Frank,
Roadside; seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; three brothers and one sister; Edgar, Hagerstown; Wilbur, Hagerstown; Charles, Chambersburg, and Miss Etha Byer, Hagerstown.

The funeral will be held at 2:30 P. M. Wednesday from the Grove Funeral Home in charge of the Rev. W. L. Crowding, of the Methodist Church, and the Rev. Harold Tapscott Smith of the Presbyterian Church. Burial will be made in Burns Hill cemetery.

The body may be viewed at the Grove Funeral Home from 7 until 9 o'clock tonight.
