HESSTON - Voth, Dr. Orville L., 84, passed away following a stroke on Sept. 22, 2008. Orville was born Jan. 4, 1924 in Rosthern, Saskatchewan, Canada, the son of John J. and Maricha Voth. He is preceded in death by his sister, Mildred Schenkel. He leaves behind his wife of 63 years, Helen M. (Voran); four daughters, Judy Fisk, Marian Robinson, Kathryn McChesney Voth, Peggy Voth; 6 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren. He was a graduate of Newton High School, Bethel College, Oklahoma State University, and Pennsylvania State University. His professional career included separate terms as professor and Vice-President for Academic Affairs at Kansas Wesleyan, and administrative positions at Bethel College and the University of Kansas. Memorials are suggested to Bethel College. Graveside service were held at Restlawn Cemetery. Celebration of his life was Friday at Bethel College Mennonite Church, North Newton.
