OBITUARY :
JAMES H. MORROW DIES OF PARALYIC STROKE - School Teacher, For Many Years, Desires All His Old Students To Attend His Funeral.

JAMES HAYES MORROW died, Wednesday evening at 8:12 o'clock, at the home of Mrs. Rebecca Funk, 112 North Potomac avenue, where he had rooms, from paralysis, aged 58 years, 6 months and 19 days.

As told by THE RECORD, he suffered a paralytic stroke, Monday evening, which affected his entire right side and his speech. He was unconscious much of the time until his death.

James Hayes Morrow was born in Cumberland county, near Mowersville, March 29, 1858, the son of John Boyd and Rebecca Morrow.

At an early age he moved to Rouzerville, where later, in 1880, he married Emma Kate Rodgers, of that section, and resided there many years.

He was a teacher by profession, having taught for a number of years in the Washington township schools. Later he became a book agent, which business he followed until his death.

He was a member of the Church of the Brethern.

Surviving are his widow and the following children, all of Waynesboro; Mrs. Harvey Wilders, South Grant street; James Willis Morrow, Wayne avenue, and John Boyd Morrow, corner North and Church streets.

Surviving also are two brothers: Albert Morrow, Mowersville, and Frank Morrow, Newburg.

Funeral services, Saturday, 10 a. m., in the Church of the Brethren conducted by Revs. C. R. Oellig and H. M. Stover. Interment in Green Hill cemetery.

FUNERAL SERVICES FOR J. H. MORROW IN BRETHREN CHURCH

The remains of J. H. Morrow were buried, Saturday, in Green Hill cemetery. Funeral services were held in the Church of the Brethren at 10 o'clock, conducted by Rev. C. R. Oellig, assisted by Rev. H. D. Emmert.

Rev. Oellig took his text from Rev. 1;6 and 8. The Scripture from Job 14 was also read. The hymns were, "Lead Kindly Light," "Come, Thou Almighty King," and "Touch Not the Cup."

The Scripture, Texts and hymns were selected by Mr. Morrow before his death.

The pallbearers were: B. F. Snider, John E. Demuth, M.E. Sollenberger, H. C. Geist.

A number of Mr. Morrow's former school pupils were in attendance, in compliance with a request of the deceased.
