Mr. King was a United States Navy veteran, serving in World War II.
He, along with his wife, Evelyn, was owner and operator of Bob King's for fifty-seven years. During that time the club has played host to many legendary musical figures, including Elvis Presley and Conway Twitty.
He was preceded in death by one son, Bobby Lynn King; his parents; five brothers, O. C., Ralph, Roy, Ray, and Bill; and one sister, Belauh.
Mr. King is survived by his wife of fifty-two years, Evelyn King; three sons, four grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, two step-grandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends.
