Services for James Floyd Parker, 45, of Forrest City were held March 28 in the Second Baptist Church in Forest City with Rev. Dan Minton and Rev. Ron Lace officiating. Burial was in Whitehall Cemetery in Hillman.

Mr. Parker died March 26 at his home. He was born May 1, 1946 in Hillman and was married to Judy Kay Williford in 1966.

Mr. Parker was area manager for De Soto Hardwood Flooring in Memphis and was a Vietnam Veteran.

He was a member, Deacon and Sunday School Teacher in the Second Baptist Church in Forrest City.

Mr. Parker is survived by his wife; one daughter--Shannon Parker of Hope; one son--James of Forrest City; three sisters-- Joyce Freeman and Paula Wilson both of Cabot and Sharon Harper of Sherwood and one brother--George of Cabot.
