William T Meyer was born near Aaronsburg 9/20/1853; he married Lizzie Musser daughter of John H Musser on 1/14/1880. William attended the schools of his town which were considerably above the average grade of public schools in the area. He was the fortunate possessor of a bright intellect. He inherited a taste for music & studied for 8 years under the instructions of Prof. T M Carter. At ten years old he produced his first musical composition.
He studied under some of the best master's in music. He also gave instruction in music, but his health gave way.
