James R. Parsons Jr., 63, 4005 Atkinson Road, Biloxi, died Monday, Oct. 31, 1988, in Biloxi. Mr. Parsons was a native of Covington, Ky., and had served in the Army Air Corps during World War II. He retired after 39 years of service for L & N Railroad. Survivors include his wife, Wanda J. Parsons of Lake Wales, Fla.; four daughters, Mrs. Susan P. Harden and Mrs. Denise P. McNeil, both of Gulfport, Mrs. Linda P. Henson of Detroit and Mrs. Brenda P. DuBoise of Biloxi; his mother, Mrs. Beulah H. Parsons of Campbellsville, Ky.; two sisters, Mrs. Mary P. Meadors of Scottsville, Ky., and Mrs. Linda P. Martin of Campbellsville; and six grandchildren. Graveside services will be today at noon at Biloxi National Cemetery. The Beauvoir Road chapel of Riemann Memorial Funeral Home in Biloxi is in charge of arrangements.
