"Walter W. Legge, 80 Jim Money Road, Biloxi, a retired employee of the Mississippi Highway Patrol, died Monday at 7:50 p.m at the Veteran's Administration Hospital in Biloxi where he had been a patient for one day. Mr. Legge, a native of Biloxi, was born Nov. 4, 1896. He was a a veteran of the Army in World War II, serving as a first lieutenant. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Eleanor Lusk Legge, Biloxi, and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call Tuesday after 6 p.m. at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home in Biloxi. The funeral will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. from the funeral home with Rev. Francis Ackle, Catholic chaplain at the Biloxi VA officiating. Burial will be in National Cemetery."
