"Seiner Gattin"

BURNED TO DEATH.
Aged Lady Near Westville Meets Terrible Fate.
Westville, Ind., June 9. -- Mrs. John Schaulky met a horrible death at the home of her son-in-law, John Schultz, at Stillwell, where she made her home. The body of the woman was found burned to a crisp in the door yard of the home, the discovery being made by Mr. Schultz. Mrs. Schaulky was 68 years old and quite feeble. She had been working about a fire in the yard, over a kettle of water and it is supposed that while watching the fire she was overcome, probably by the heat and fell so that her dress touched the flames and ignited. The aged woman made no outcry, at least none was heard by the daughter who was working the house close to where the unfortunate woman lay.
