Gibbsville – Abraham Huenink, 51, who resided 2 miles southwest of Gibbsville, passed away at 7:30 p.m. Sunday, following a stroke.
Mr. Huenink was born in town of Holland on September 19, 1880, and was married to Minnie Wassink on March 3, 1903. He is survived by his wife; one daughter, Mrs. Clarence Ver Gowe of Gibbsville; one son, Melvin, at home; two grandchildren; one brother, Henry of Cedar Grove; and by two sisters, Mrs. Henry Te Beest of Gibbsville and Mrs. Albert Ten Pas of Hingham. One son died in infancy.
The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the residence and at 1:30 o'clock at the Gibbsville Reformed church. The Rev. M. C. Ruisard will officiate and interment will be in the Union cemetery.
