Race Car Driver. 14-time veteran of the Indianapolis 500. He registered Top Ten finishes in the 1941, 1949, 1950, 1954, 1957 and 1959 Classics. In his best finish, Russo drove a NOVI Special to 4th place in 1957. The previous year, starting 8th, he quickly took the lead, only to crash into the first turn wall when a tire blew early into his 22nd lap.
