Funeral services for Thomas Lee Carder, 31, of Leesville were held Saturday, March 24, at 10 a.m. in the Chapel of the Vernon Funeral Home with the Rev. Samuel Pruitt officiating. Burial was in the Oak Grove cemetery in Hornbeck under the direction of Vernon Funeral Home, He died Thursday. March 22, at his residence on Highway 171 South in Leesville. he was employed at Fort Polk. Survivors include his wife, Wanda Lee Switzer Carder of Leesville, one daughter, Denise Lenore Carder of Leesville; his mother. Margretha Evans Carder of California; one sister. Mrs. Cynthia Goodman of California; and two..brothers, Howard Carder and John Carder both of California.
