Mrs. Ella M. Best, 72, of RD 1, Parker, widow of Charles Best, died in her home at 10 p.m.,
Thursday, January 26. A native of Jefferson County, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Mary Frampton McCool.
For the past 23 years she had resided in Parker. She was a member of the Perrysville Methodist Church.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. P. J Covert, Baltimore, Md., and Mrs. L. J. Hoffman, Longview, Texas; two -stepdaughters, Mrs. William King, Parker and Mrs. Ivan.Bell, Bruin; two stepsons, Arnold Best, Parker and LaRue Best, Larchmont. N.Y. a brother, Willis A. McCool, Oil City; a sister, Mrs. Cecil Phenicie, Parker; and three grandchildren.
Funeral services were held in her home at 1;30 pm Sunday with the Rev. C. A. Schaub, pastor of the Perrysville Methodist Church, in charge. Interment followed in the Brookville Cemetery.
