This was a young man who had a life that was reminiscent of an emotional tornado. A young man who stood up for his country. A talent that was never realized. A broken heart and a horrific ending. His life should be a lesson to us all.

He died in the Marine barracks bombing incident in Beirut on October 23, 1983

He was my best friend...
