Chester "Chet" P. Farrell, 60, of Sarcoxie, died Tuesday at the Missouri State Chest Hospital in Mount Vernon after several years of ill health.
Born Jan. 25, 1921, in Joplin, Mr. Farrell was a lifelong resident of the area. He was a retired cattleman, and a member of the Sarcoxie First Christian Church and the Gideon Society.
He married Shirley Chandler, July 20, 1920 at Sarcoxie. She survives.
Also surviving are two daughters, Sandra Shouse and Kathy Endicott; and a brother, Bill.
Services will be Thursday at the First Christian Church here. Burial will follow in the Sarcoxie Cemetery.
