This is the memorial for my grandfather's grandparents. Henry Wright had been a mystery to our family from the family history info did not match with other records. We could not find the family bible which was in the hands of Jennie Wright Stringer Huckaby of Marietta who passed away in 1991.
I did find in a book of Whitfield County Cemeteries the listing for Henry Wright. It showed that his marker read 1933 but his obit read 1934. I was able to finally secure the death certificate from the State of Alabama and it showed the date of death was 14 Apr 1934. I contacted the Dalton Citizen and requested the obit and was told that they have the whole year of 1934 but the month of April. This makes me believe that the person who wrote the book saw the obit and maybe pulled it and did not put it back in the right place. I also contacted the University of Georgia Archives and they also have all of 1934 but the month of April. Found the obit that I posted here at the Whitfield/Murray County Historical Society in Dalton. Jennifer there found it for me and also the one for Sarah Francis McGee Wright.
Update Sept 2018- Picture was found by my cousin Cait Muldoon Gladow in her mothers stuff. It shows that his name was actually John Henry Wright. I hope that this will help me find out his parents and siblings.
