James Anderson Adkins, eighty-four years old, who died Sunday at the home of his son, Hallie Adkins of Griffithsville, was buried in the Adkins cemetery on Big Laurel, following funeral services Tuesday at 10 a.m. at the residence of his son.
Lincoln Democrat Thursday Jan. 31, 1946.
NOTE: He was a son of Matthew T. Adkins and America Adkins. Brother of Blackburn Belva Adkins. Husband of Sylvia Adkins. Nine daughters; Arizona, Chloe, Minnie, Rosa, Martha Jane, Flora J., Vickie, Georgia and Anthelia. Three sons; Hallie, James Ephriam, and Jerome Shelton Adkins.
