Rites Held For
Mrs. Toothman
Funeral services for Mrs. Frances
Alma Johns Toothman, 91, who
died last week at the home of her
daugther Mrs. Vina Eades, of
Hope, were held Tuesday afternoon
at the Bengal Methodist Church in
Shelby County.
Mrs. Toothman was born in Ohio,
and moved to Hendericks Township
in Shelby County, where she lived
most of her life. She resided for past
several years at the home of her
daugther, Mrs. Eades.
Surviving with Mrs. Eades, are two
other daugthers, Mrs. Stella
Schoentraup of Shelbyville; and
Mrs. Flora Lee of Marietta, and
one brother, in Ohio.
Also surviving are sixteen grand-
children, nineteen great grand-
children and four great-great
grand children.

Mrs. Toothman could have been with the maiden name of John and changed it at some point within her lifetime to Johns. The reason for this is still unknown to the family.
