OBITUARY :
WILBERT MARCELLA (BUDDY) SEE, 85, of Pennsylvania Avenue, Winchester, died Tuesday, June 29, 2004, in the VA Medical Center, Martinsburg, W.Va.
Mr. See was born April 13, 1919, in Mathias, W.Va., the son of Moses and Ida Nicholson See. He worked for Buncutter Oil Co. as a gas transport carrier.
He was a private in the Army during World War II.
He married Beryl Gruber on June 16, 1956, in Winchester.
Surviving with his wife, are a son, Robert A. See of Coos Bay, Ore.; two stepdaughters, Sandra H. Michael of Martinsburg, W.Va., and Nancy N. Austin of Winter Haven, Fla.; a brother, Alleston S. See of Grayville, Ill.; a sister, Vesta L. Nethers of Winchester; three step-grandchildren; four step-great-grandchildren; and two step-great-great-grandchildren.
Two sisters, Della S. Byers and Treva S. Cook, are deceased.
A funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Jones Funeral Home, Winchester. Burial will be in Mount Hebron Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Brian S. Boyd, Paul W. Boyd, Christopher Hall, Delmus Miller, Percy Byers, and Melvin Halterman.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
