Mary L. (Sims) Moore, 67, of Glouster, Ohio, formerly of Plain City, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly, Tuesday, July 29, 2008. Mary was born on December 25, 1940 in Milton, West Virginia to the late Edward and Effie Brammer. Throughout her years she owned and operated "Sims Upholstery", was a bus driver for Plain City Schools, and owned and operated the "Glouster Feed and Grain". Above all she was a homemaker, mother and grandmother who enjoyed the simple pleasures in life.

She is preceded in death by her son, Mark A. Sims; first love of her life, her first husband, James E. Sims, who passed away in 1975; and brothers, Edward L. Scarberry and John E. Brammer.

Mary is survived by her husband, Callis "Top" Moore; children, Clinton R. Sims of Corning, Ohio, Robin Sims Richey (Tom) of Columbus, Ohio, Becky L. Newman (Lee) of Nelsonville, Ohio and Callis Moore Jr., of Glouster, Ohio; six grandchildren, Darcy Sims, Owen and Adam West, and Marissa, Josh and Ashley Sims; three great-grandchildren; and a brother Jimmie Brammer (Norma) and a sister, Nancy J. Kennedy (Roger), both of Glouster, Ohio.

The family will receive friends at Brown Funeral Home, 14040 Locust Street, Murray City, Ohio from 2-4 and 7-9 Friday August 1, 2008. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 2, 2008, at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Dave Couch officiating. Burial will be at the Rockland Cemetery in Belpre, Ohio.
