Graveside services will be conducted at Centuries Memorial Park Cemetery for Lillian Estelle Bagby, age 87, of Shreveport, LA, on Saturday, May 14, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. Officiating will be Rev. Quinn Nyman of Summer Grove Baptist Church. Visitation will be at Centuries Funeral Home on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to service time.
Mrs. Bagby was a resident of Shreveport since 1955 and a member of Summer Grove Baptist Church for 47 years. During W.W.II she was a member of the U.S. Coast Guard. She was a woman of great wit with a very loving nature. Most of all she was a loving and dedicated wife, mother and grandmother who will be greatly missed.
Mrs. Bagby was preceded in death by her husband, Luther Robert Bagby.
She is survived by her two loving daughters, Sharon Thompson and husband Phillip of Shreveport, LA, and Lorraine Lynch and husband Michael of Mandeville, LA; two sisters, Lucille Holt and Ruby Lee Williams, both of England, AR; seven grandchildren, Michael and Mark Reeves, Jan Reeves Holmes, Jody, Brad, Colby, and Casey Lynch; and five great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be the grandsons. The family would like to thank Jean Heinley for her compassion and loving care of our mother.
