Argo Cecil Henry born July 14, 1917, in Alachua County, Florida.Argo Cecil Henry married Dorothy McKneely Harris on December 10, 1942. He enlisted in the Army (WWII) on February 27, 1942 and was living at Camp Blanding while he was in training. He had been wounded in action and in March of 1945 was admitted to a Convalescent Rehabilitation Hospital (portable hospitals that could be moved at anytime and mostly setup in safe zones called ZI or Zone of Interior). The Medical Card indicated he was assigned to Field Artillery Parachute Unit #4. He was diagnosed "Diagnosis: Fracture, compound, comminuted with no nerve or artery involvement; Location: Calcareous bone (os calcis); Causative Agent: Artillery Shell, Fragments, Afoot or unspecified". It was classified as a Battle Casualty "Disposition: Discharged or Retired for Disability, Line of Duty, Yes; Final Result: Disfigurement: scar, adherent or painful". He returned from overseas on February 4, 1945 arriving in New York from London. He was discharged in September of 1945. He lived and worked in the Jacksonville, FL area until he died on August 7, 1985. He is buried at the Arlington Park Cemetery, Jacksonville, FL.
