The Reverend John Archibald, and his wife, Mary Belle(Crain)Nelms, came to Texas with their family in 1842. They came from Kentucky and settled in Ector, Fannin County, Texas. John Archibald and his wife, Mary Belle were originally buried in Pace Cemetery in Bonham, Texas. It is reported that their graves may have been moved to Willow Wild Cemetery, also in Bonham, Texas. A fertilizer plant was build over a large portion of the Pace Cemetery which caused many of the graves, if not all, to be moved to Willow Wild Cemetery.
