Mom
I can only hope and pray that your pains and troubles are no longer with you. You were the best mother anyone could ever ask for, the best friend anyone could ever have and I can only hope and pray that you know how much I love you and always will. I would give anything in this world just to have you right here with me right now, because I feel like this is something I can never get over. You truly meant the world to me and I pray to god that you know that! I would have given my life for your happiness.

Rose Beyond the Wall
by A.L. Frink

A rose once grew
where all could see,
sheltered beside
a garden wall,
And as the days passed
swiftly by,
it spread its branches, straight and tall...

One day, a beam of light
shone through
a crevice that had
opened wide ~
The rose bent gently
toward its warmth
then passed beyond
to the other side

Now, you who deeply
feel its loss,
be comforted ~ the rose blooms there ~
its beauty even greater now,
nurtured by
God's own loving care.
