Reva Ethlyn LaHatt, 86, of Lewiston, died Saturday, Dec. 6, 2003, at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in Lewiston of causes related to age. She was born Oct. 6, 1917, in Cameron to Jake Berreman and Carrie (Welker) Berreman. She attended schools in Clarkston and Kendrick, graduating from Kendrick High School in 1935.

Reva and Florrian Walter LaHatt were married on March 10, 1938, in Asotin. They lived in north central Idaho for many years. They purchased the McPhail Jewelry Store in Lewiston in 1966 and operated it until closing the business in 1971. They opened the Twin City Hearing Aid Center the same year. In 1973, they sold the hearing aid business, retired, and moved to the Battle Ridge area near Kooskia.

In 1978, Reva and Florrian moved to Glenoma, Wash., to be near their daughter and son-in-law. After Florrian passed away on June 30, 1984, Reva remained there until moving back to Clarkston in 1990.

Throughout her life, Reva loved to sew, making most of her own clothes up into her 80s. She was a loving wife and devoted mother.

Her husband, Florrian; and a sister, Veva Woodward preceded her in death.
