Graveside rites for Franklin Alfred "Buddy" Hunter, 68, will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Provence Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Griffin Funeral Home.

Born Sept. 22, 1937 at Keiser, Ark. to James Audie and Nellie Hunter, he died Jan. 26, 2006 at a local hospital. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Al Hunter, and a sister, Luis Hunter.

He lived in Ardmore for 25 years, coming from California. He was a member of the Moose Lodge.

Survivors include a son, Steven Walter Hunter, Carrolton, Texas; daughter, Debbie Lynn Good, Chino, Calif.; brothers, Tommie Hunter, Hickman, Ky., Lloyd Hunter, Troy, Tenn., Louise Hunter, Watervalley, Ky., Rickey Hunter, Dover, Ark., Feddie Hunter, Union City, Tenn., and Sammy Hunter, Union City; sisters, Penny Higgins, Beaumont, Texas, Mary Jane Fowler, Oversburg, Tenn., and Charlotte Willette, Union City; and three grandchildren.

Bearers are Randall Kyle Sr., Walter Hunter, Paul Yates, Dave Graves, Ed Morris, Chris Caples and Randall Kyle Jr.
