"Geo. W. Bolton was born in Georgia, September 15, 1841; educated in the public schools of that State. He is one of the leading merchants in Pineville, Rapides parish. He was a member of the Convention of 1879, member of the Legislature from 1888 to 1894, and Grand Master of the
grand Lodge F. and A.M. of Louisiana. He was chairman of the Contingent Expense Committee and member of the Committees on Rules, Limitation and the Corporations and Corporate Rights"
