Beulah Mae (Epley) Jackson King

"Beulah Mae King, daughter of J. M. (Mike) and Mary Head Epley, was born March 24, 1904, at Green Forest, Arkansas, and departed this life September 21, 1966, at the Boone County Hospital, Harrison, Arkansas, at the age of 62 years, 5 months, and 27 days. Her home was at 405 Pine Street in Green Forest.

She was united in marriage to James Troy Jackson and to this union one child was born. Mr. Jackson preceeded her in death. She was later married to Cary N. King, who also preceeded her in death.

She is survived by one son, Cleo Jackson of Green Forest, Arkansas; one brother, Myrl Epley of Green Forest, Arkansas; one sister, Eula Norris of Concord, California; 3 grandchildren and one great grandchild.

She was a member of the United Pentecost Church. Funeral services were Sat., Sept. 24, 1966, at her Church in Green Forest, AR. Interment was in the Denver Cemetery under direction of the Nelson Funeral Home of Berryville, Ar.

She was born May 24, 1904 in Green Forest, Carroll Co., AR the daughter of James Michael Epley and Mary Ellen Head.

Beulah married (1st) Dec. 24, 1922 in Reed Springs, Stone Co., MO. James Troy Jackson. They had one son, Cleo Berlin Jackson (still living). James died in 1927 after a long struggle with Thypoid Fever.

Beulah married (2nd) Feb. 21, 1931, in Galena, Stone Co., MO, Carey Nolan King. They had no children. Since both Beulah and Carey were widowed when they married, they agreed early on to be buried with their deceased spouses when the time came. They were married 32 years, but were buried as they agreed.
