Myrtle "Maxine" Rockhold, 63, of Vienna, passed away May 12, 2007 at Camden Clark Memorial Hospital. She was born July 16, 1943 in Doddridge County, WV, a daughter of the late Loxie Viola Nicholson.

Maxine retired in October 2006 from the West Virginia Unemployment Security Office in Parkersburg after 33 years of dedicated service.

Maxine is survived by her husband of 50 years: Marion "Rocky" Rockhold of Vienna, six daughers and son in laws: Donna and Richard Farley of Michigan, Diana and Denzil Williams of Florida, Delora "Ann" and John Stanley of Kentucky, Deborah Rockhold Lane of WV., Deanna "Dee" and Donald Haddix of WV., Sarah and Jon Vance of NC, 12 grandchildren: Heather Stralher, Jason Farley, Elizabeth Farley, Amanda Crousser, Michelle Cuker, Michael Williams, Denzil Williams, Jr., Natasha Lane, Nathaniel Lane, Zachary Haddix, Shania Vance and Rebecca Vance, 13 great grandchildren, two sisters:Yvonne Martin and Evelyn Camp both of WV.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one great grandson Michael Williams II.

Services will be 1PM Wednesday at Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg with Reverend Rick Brown officiating. Commital services will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens. Visitation 2-4 6-8 Tuesday.
