Edith Marie Tuttle Mounce, 85, died June 5, 2008 at Stokes Reynolds Hospital. She was born in Stokes County to Riley Wilson and Agnes Miriam Tuttle Tuttle.

She was a lifetime member of Rosebud Christian Church. After 40 years service, she retired from Gem-Dandy to enjoy flower gardening.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and three brothers. Surviving are her husband of 61 1/2 years, Charles Alexander Mounce; three sisters, Hilda Lewis, Bessie Tuttle and Opal Foy; special niece, Christie Boros and several special nieces, nephews and cousins.

Burial was in the Rosebud Christian Church Cemetery.
