"Faye Brewer, 80, of Bolckow [Andrew Co.], died July 7 at a St. Joseph nursing home.
"A native of the Savannah area and the daughter of the late Bertha Lou Jenkins and George Fancher [sic, Fansher], Mrs. Brewer had spent most of her life in Andrew County. She was a member of the United Methodist Church, Savannah.
"She is survived by her husband, George Luke Brewer; two sons, John Brewer, Fenton, and Merle Brewer, Bolckow; two sisters, Beulah Vey, St. Joseph, and Minnie Latona, Denison, Texas; nine grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
"Funeral services were conducted July 9 in the Breit & Hawkins Chapel with the Rev. Paul Buckles Sr. officiating. Interment was in the Savannah Cemetery."
