Robert William Wright, 77, Ekron, died Sunday, July 19, 1998 in Louisville. He was born April 12, 1921, the son of Henry Clay and Nannie Beatrice Kennison Wright. He was preceded in death by his wife, Agnes King Wright, 2 grandchildren, a brother Wesley Wright and 2 sisters Mattie Trimble and Mable Wright.
Wright is survived by 8 children, Gorby Wright, kenneth Wright and Bobby Wright all of Brandenburg, Dorby Wright, Central, IN., Donna Curl, Wolf Creek, Gene Wright and Carolyn McGarry, both of Louisville and David Wright, Ekron: 5 ste[-children, James King and Bradley King, both of Louisville, Marvin King, Wolf Creek; Cheryl Lewis, Clarkson and Leslie King,Payneville; 4 sisters, Thelma Martin, Brandenburg, Jannetta Lucas, Ekron, Rose Brown, Waddy, Henrietta Kendall, Guston; 24 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren, a special friend, Mary Ruth Goodman, Ekron; several aunts and uncles.
Funeral services will be held at 2p.m. on Wed. July 22 from the chapel of the Hager Funeral Home, with burial in the Parr-Frans Cemetery. Friends may call at the Hager Funeral Home after 10 a.m. Tue.
