Inez D. Baker, 89, of Lake View Care Center at Hope died at 10:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Bartholomew County Hospital after a long illness. Until four years ago she lived in Florida.
Funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at Hathaway-Myers Funeral Home by Dr. Joe G. Emerson. Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery. Persons may call at the funeral home from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday and until time of service Friday.
Mrs. Baker was born Aug. 9, 1887, to Morton P. and Martha Doty Jones in Franklin County. She was married to Ernest L. Baker, who preceded her in death.
Survivors include a son, Phillip C. Baker of 302 Flat Rock; a daughter, Mrs. Martha Jane Tyler of Alexandria; one sister, Imo L. Jones, and one brother, Hubert P. Jones, both of Liberty; four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
