Eddie Clinton "Buddy" Simmons, 85, of 356 Ready Section Rd., Hazel Green, died Friday at home. The funeral will be Sunday at 1 p.m. at Huntsville Holiness Church with the Rev. David Jones and the Rev. Elton Brazier officiating.
Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery with Spry Funeral Home in charge.
Survivors include three sons, James Simmons and Buddy Simmons Jr., both of Hazel Green, and Paul Simmons of Brownsboro; five daughters, Mrs. Lizzie Drake of Owens Cross Roads, Mrs. Maudie Odell of Davenport, Fla., Mrs. Ora Bell Gray of Fayetteville, Tenn., and Mrs. Bernice Medlen and Mrs. Marie Vickers, both of Huntsville; 27 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
